Founded in 1996 by Mark Abate at age 23. Mark always had a love for car's growing up, at the ripe age of 15 he bought his first car. It was a 1979 Camaro RS 305 auto. Mark really wanted a standard shift car so he bought a donor car and started cutting them up. Low and be hold to his surprise the car went back together, the best part is that it worked. Since then Mark has honed in his talents and became one of the East Coast top builder/designers. In past years SCAP has participated in some of the world’s biggest and best car events, like SEMA, CES, Toronto international car show, Carlisle events, NOPI Nats. and Import fest just to name a few. At these events we had the pleasure to compete with the best the world has to offer. SCAP has shined in the lime light, with top awards from those events, we at SCAP are committed to the pursuit of perfection, always raising the bar to the highest level every step of the way. Some of our work has graced the covers of magazines as well as been presented on several TV programs. At SCAP we don’t want to tell you that we're the best at what we do, we want to show you. SCAP has a number of their award winning vehicles on hand to show and demonstrate at their state of the art location.
